New House Pictures

Last week we moved into our new house, but the weather has been more like it is back home and I've been waiting for a sunny day to take pictures.  The one thing we don't like about this house is that there is no central lighting, except for in the kitchen, but other than that there are just lamps everywhere so we LOVE it when it gets sunny here.  Things that we like about this house include: both fireplaces, keyless entry, warm fluffy carpet, vaulted ceilings, and the neighborhood.  We live in a retired community.  Our backyard is the 9th fairway.  The tennis courts, hot tub, fitness center, swimming pool and restaurant just down the street.  We really like this place, and anyone who is into golfing... this is the place to be.  Too bad we will only be here for just a few more weeks though.  And as a side note, we are in no way trying to boast about our current living conditions; we are EXTREMELY blessed right now for this temporary position Seth is fulfilling.  We are starting a journal of things that we like about houses that we live in and other ideas that we want to implement into our own house.  Someday we hope to build our own house and we want it to be perfect!

This is the view from the back deck... to the right is where you tee off

This is our living room area... we are big fans of the Fox News Channel and if you notice we have our tennis balls drying out by the fireplace... result of playing in the rain

This is the guest room... there is a fireplace in the other corner and a separate door to outside

The upstairs room... for anyone who wants to come visit...

The kitchen area and the dining table is sticking out on the bottom right corner

We play chess and checkers on occasion

The master bedroom is connected with a sweet bathroom and a walk-in closet... I never thought I would be excited about things like this

  1. Hey Carmen!
So I was wondering, how on earth are they affording all of that great stuff so early in a marriage?!?!? Super jealous. :)
It looks like life is pretty awesome for you right now though, yay!
Hope you make it back to Provo soon. I know how much Jess misses ya!

  2. You're officially married-appreciating houses and noticing what you do and don't like about them. How's Bucket List friday going? That was my favorite idea!
