Bucket List Friday

Bucket List Friday consisted of Me, Seth, Russell and Jen doing as many things as we could within a six hour time frame.  We started the morning off with each listing a few things we wanted to accomplish during the day and then set off to do them.  We started with driving to Mare Island, at the old naval shipyard, to do some exploring and take some sweet pictures, we had no idea that we would end up exploring an old naval officers house.  Then we got home and canoed out to a small island in the bay, saw a seal and a lot of seagulls, skipped some rocks and raced home (Grishams won).  Then we had to go park hopping and slide down as many slides as we could in Benicia.  Jen, the only native to the town, was our tour guide. With a few other small things thrown in there we were all pretty tired at the end of the day.  Bucket List Friday was definitely a success.

This is the house on wheels that we are about to explore... and we looked but there was no sign saying that we couldn't go exploring

Russell was the only one brave enough to stand on the rotting floor boards

The paint was peeling everywhere, but it makes for a cool photo

This is the road that can take you to more old houses on wheels or up to the Regional Headquarters for the Forest Service... depends which way you go

This is what we called the master bathroom... it was the only one with a window and a tub...

Not going to lie, this house was creepy and smelled like creepy old houses

Train track model shot... I'm pretty sure we weren't allowed to do this either, but everyone that drove by just stared at us, so we figured it was okay

The slide was blocked off at the top, so after trying to crawl inside and failing with every attempt, they decided to sit on top of the slide

I have always wanted to ride on the back of a purple dinosaur, lucky for us we found one in just my size

Sliding the slide at one of the many parks we hopped to, this was the first one on the list

Jen and Russell patrolling the slide

Largest playground slide I have ever seen!
